Intellectual Property Rights and its Implication
The School of Civil Engineering in association with University Industry Interaction Centre organized a session on Intellectual Property Rights and Its Implication on 12th March 2024 from 3:30pm to 4.30 pm for 2nd sem students of Civil Engineering.
The speaker for the session was Ms Arshiya Ambreen
The session started with a brief introduction to IPR, its importance and need in academia and Industry. IPR applicability and its territorial visibility were discussed at large. The resource person gave the basic characteristics of creations and innovations that can be applied for protection and rights. Short videos for innovation were played for better clarity.
The session also highlighted on the requirements of the patent filing in India. The Speaker also spoke about Copyright, Designs, Trademark and Trade Secrets. The whole session was interactive and interesting.
